The Work Continues, But Tonight We Dance

You’re invited to the 2025 Hepatitis B Foundation Gala. We will celebrate all of the wins we have experienced for those living with hepatitis B over the past year, with a focus on expanding access to testing, vaccination and treatment. We’ve seen major progress nationally to test and vaccinate all adults and global programs to test and treat those living in highly impacted communities.

But there’s still so much work to be done.

The Gala is our single largest fundraising event, and makes our programs possible. Together we can vaccinate the unprotected and link those who have hepatitis B with much needed care and treatment. This is how you will help save lives and fight hepatitis B.

The evening will consist of dinner, dancing and games of chance with great company. We will present the prestigious Baruch S. Blumberg Prize for outstanding contributions to hepatitis B research to T. Jake Liang, MD, a Distinguished Investigator at the National Institutes of Health and globally recognized expert on liver diseases. We will also present the Community Leadership Award to Catharine and Rob Williams. A member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2008, Catharine has served for many years on the executive committee and chairs the development committee, and Rob has been an active partner in their work.

The work of preventing, treating and one day eliminating hepatitis B is ongoing. Thanks to supporters like you, there has been tremendous movement this year. Please join us to celebrate the wins your donations make possible and contribute to our ongoing efforts.

If you cannot attend, you can still participate in our silent auction online by making an account.

FOR BETTER LIFE

OUR MISSION

The Hepatitis B Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure and improving the quality of life for those affected by hepatitis B worldwide. Our commitment includes funding focused research, promoting disease awareness, supporting immunization and treatment initiatives, and serving as the primary source of information for patients and their families, the medical/scientific community and general public.

PATIENT SUPPORT

We hear from patients every day, thousands annually, who are seeking advice, answers and even referrals to physicians who are liver specialists. The inquiries come by email, phone and Facebook. Each receives an individual response from our experienced team.

EDUCATION

Through our website, webinars and seminars, daily messaging on social media, our regular newsletters and our work with partner organizations, the Foundation’s team shares the latest and best information about advances in hepatitis B diagnosis, treatment and related issues.

RESEARCH

We created our research arm over 18 years ago to pursue the cure for hepatitis B. More than 30 scientists work to advance drug discovery and conduct research into hepatitis B diagnosis, treatment and associated issues, particularly hepatitis D and liver cancer.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

GIVE TODAY!

We believe that no one should die from hepatitis B. Your gift will help the Hepatitis B Foundation fulfill its mission to find a cure and improve the lives of those affected worldwide through research, education, public health and patient advocacy. Your donation will be put to work right away towards targeted outreach and research.
